[ Species Rules ] - Updated 5.23.2020

  This species is aimed for mature audiences, meaning there will be more serious themes and topics that people who are not mature enough might not like, such as violence, religious and cult influences and other darker subjects. Even so, we welcome people of all ages as our events typically do not center around those topics. But please be aware that you will be restricted from posting any kind of NFSW artwork in the group AND in the discord if you are a minor.  

[ General Rules ]

1. Do not make an WPD without permission. Only from a MYO slot or through adoptions and raffles. Join the group to receive notifications of such events. WPD are NOT free, unless you receive a MYO ticket from me or get a free MYO slot from an event!!

2. We ask that WPD owners join or watch the group to keep track of the announcements or event journals.

3. Submit all Warpa related art to the correct folder. Art that has nothing to do with the group will be declined.

4. When designing your WPD, make sure you have read through everything in the “How to create your own" journal.

5. It is preferred if you show the group a WIP of your WPD design before you upload it so we can make sure it’s ok.

6. If you have a question about anything, please visit the "Q & A" Journal first. If your question is not answered, you may note the group or comment in the Q and A journal.

7. By owning a WPD, you agree that you have read and understood the species rules.

[ Retiring a design ]

If you decide that you no longer want to be part of the Warpa community, or if you are thinking of turning your Warpa into a regular demon character, please make sure to read these rules:

• If you got a design through an official adopt/raffle/DTA/ETC, under NO circumstances you are allowed to take the character out of the species. Meaning they cannot be retired in any way. If you decide you no longer want to be a part of the community, you can either sell or trade your demon over at the trading/resell hub. And you must notify the masterlist about the change of ownership. We ask that you also do not make OCs that closely resemble that character after you have traded/gifted/sold that design, because that is plagiarism. But you CAN take their name/story with you, since we don't own that!

• Only designs created through MYOs are allowed to be retired. This includes customs as well but you must also notify the original designer (And if they do not feel comfortable with it, they ARE allowed so say no). Retired designs are considered 'dead' designs that can no longer be used in or outside of the species. Ever. And this also means that you cannot gift/trade/resell the design if you change your mind. It is literally a frozen design that nobody can use anymore. You CAN create an OC that is based off of your Warpa demon, but these guidelines must be followed:

- Nightmare form must be removed.
- You cannot use the group's lore in any way, so you must change the character's background story if they have any ties to it.
- Markings must be removed. 
- The horn design must be different or removed completely. 
- You must still note the group after you have finished your non-Warpa design so that we can approve it. This is to make sure that all guidelines have been followed.

If you are thinking about retiring a design, please note the group or DM me (Mama-choco) through discord. Be sure to have the Masterlist file of the design that you want to retire on hand, since I will be asking for it!

[ MYO slot rules ]

• Cannot resell MYO slots that are obtained in group events/activities. But you can trade/gift them.

• Cannot transfer MYO slots that are obtained in free MYO events.  

• MYOs given to mods cannot be sold, only traded or gifted.

• MYO slots obtained in free MYO events will automatically become void after the due date written in each event if you fail to design it on time. 

• Cannot resell a slot for more than what you bought it for. (Tier 3 slots purchased before April 10, 2019 are valued at $8 USD)

• Once you buy a MYO, you are required to register it in the MYO Slot Tracker journal. 

[ Adoptable rules ]

- There is a 1 week cooldown before you can trade/resell your Warpa! Either if its created by you through a MYO, or if you bought it from me or other guest artists.

- Designs created in FREE MYO events can only be traded or gifted if they do not have commissioned art. If the character has art that YOU have payed for, then you can sell it for the price of the commissioned art BUT you must provide proof of purchase. Otherwise you can only trade it/ gift it. 

[ Re-Designing your Warpa ]

If you no longer like the design of your Warpa and wish to re-design them, then you have these options:


1. If you wish to redesign an existing Warpa, the DC store provides items that allow you to change your Warpa's eye color, markings, skin tone, etc. You can purchase those items with points/money OR use the group's currency, which you can obtain by participating in events, doing some of the prompts, or by offering simple commissions for DC. For more ways to gain DC, please read the information in the 'Currency' journal and the 'DC Bank' journal. These items are typically cheap, so you can obtain them rather easily and some of them can also be obtained during events.  If you use these items, please note the group so that we can approve of your changes.

Edits that you do not need to turn in for approval: Outfits, hairstyles (including hair color), or accessories.


2. If you obtain a Warpa through adoption (Including trades, raffles and DTAs), you automatically have a small redesign option. THIS DOES NOT mean that you can change the character completely. But lets say the adoptable has markings that are too difficult to draw, or a certain color of eyes that you do not like. Though changing the looks of the nightmare form or humanoid is not allowed, only the cosmetics. This is only a 1 time thing, and once you draw your character with these changes, you will need to apply option #1 if you wish to change other things in the future. 


3. Your Warpa also gains a slight re-design every time you upgrade them to a new tier. Since upgrading them means they become stronger, Warpas can 'evolve', gaining new features. When it comes to this re-design, you are free to ADD features like additional horns, additional markings or more eyes. You can even change the animal of their nightmare form since Warpas can also morph into an animal that belongs to a higher tier!! But you CANNOT change the colors of the design, humanoid looks, horn design or the marking design. So again, you can add things, but you cannot change them. For example, if you are planning to change their nightmare form, you can only change the animal type, but the horns, markings and colors stay the same.

4. Lastly, you can keep an eye out for this item called [ Restoration Water ]  which allows you to redesign your Warpa without limits. It can only be obtained through specific events! Note: This does NOT mean you are allowed to create a completely new character to replace the old one. The Warpa's humanoid form MUST still be recognizable, even if you change the nightmare form. But things such as colors, markings, and horns can be altered as much as you want. THIS ITEM CANNOT BE SOLD. You may only trade it or gift it.

Any re-design or changes you do to your Warpa must be approved by the group!!
